Finally a date and a time

We gave it a great deal of thought and then did nothing about it. Finally we formed a committee and achieved very little.
Phone calls to the Aunts made it clear that

• we should stop faffing around and make a few decisions.
• make sure the weather is cool.

So we have chosen the May long weekend 4-7 May.

Our suggested itinerary is
Friday 4 May  Meet and Greet at 7  Belinda Crescent Springwood

Saturday 5 May Mid Morning a  river cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Saturday 5 May Night is a cabaret evening at the Slacks Creek Progress hall. (dancing, music, games and fun) Dinner will be a spit roast (approx$20-25 per head).

Sunday 6 May  will be a BBQ breakfast/brunch at a place to be decided.

Soft drinks, wine and beer will be available but if you want stronger spirits you will have to BYO.
Children's prices and family prices for the boat cruise may be less if we have enough numbers for a block booking.

Monday is a public holiday in Queensland - Springwood is 20 minutes from the Airport and 30 minutes to the Gold Coast and its many worlds (Movie, Sea and Dream).
